AIRCESS Aviation
Aircess started as a charter cargo
operation that was later developed to include passenger
operations. The company's initial fleet consisted of four
Antonov-8 cargo aircraft, that grew to a total of 23
aircraft and 4 helicopters at the peak of Aircess
operations.
Aircess was a private company fully owned
by Victor Bout, a born-salesman, young Russian businessman
who recognized the opportunity in the transport industry and
capitalized on the availability of relatively-cheap flying
assets in the former Soviet Union. A man with undying love
for aviation, and eternal drive to succeed.
Aircess was a dream that materialized
into reality for every person that came in contact with the
company; regardless at what side of the fence that person
stood. For Victor and the hundreds of Aircess employees,
Aircess was the place where their dreams of creating a solid
airline while earning a living met reality. For the others,
like the UN’s Johan Peleman and the media exploiters,
Aircess was the cause of their fame and fortune. As for the
unknown, Aircess was the way to become known and
recognizable. Whatever the objective might be, saying
"Aircess" is nothing short of saying the magic word needed
to open the magic gate to recognitions.
